Mobile Messaging Terms

Sponge Labs, LLC (“Sponge Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) offers text messaging (SMS) to people who ask for it. These Mobile Messaging Terms explain what we send, how often, what it costs you, and how to stop. They apply to every text message sent by or on behalf of Sponge Labs, including messages about the Sponge Labs Lab platform and the services described on spongelabs.io. By opting in, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What We Send

When you opt in, Sponge Labs may text you about: replies to an inquiry you submitted through our website or by phone; confirmations and reminders for appointments, calls, and meetings you scheduled with us; notifications about your account, projects, invoices, and deliverables on the Sponge Labs Lab platform; and answers to questions you text us. We do not send marketing or promotional texts unless you separately agree to receive them.

2. How You Opt In

You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on a form on our website (for example the form on our contact page), by saying yes when a member of our team or our automated phone assistant asks whether we may text you at the number you provide, or by texting us first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from Sponge Labs.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your inquiry, your appointments, and your activity on the Lab platform. Most people receive a few messages per month.

4. Cost

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s charges are your responsibility. Check with your carrier for details. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

5. How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send no further texts unless you opt in again. You can also email us@spongelabs.io and ask us to remove your number.

7. Your Privacy

Mobile phone numbers and text messaging opt-in data are never sold, shared, or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share mobile information only with the service providers that deliver our text messages, and only so they can deliver them. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.

8. Supported Carriers

Our messaging program is available on major U.S. carriers. Carriers may change their policies at any time, and availability is not guaranteed on every carrier or device.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Mobile Messaging Terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and change the effective date above. Continued participation in the program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
